History:
It is a 1978 Mustang II with the Rallye Appearance Package.
Paint is black with the signature gold stripes.
Interior: Black with the alternate gold inserts (fans of the Rallye
Appearance package don't know that late in 1978, Ford ran out of the fabric
used originally [a velour type cloth] and substituted a patterned gold
fabric used in the 78 Lincoln Mark IVs...this is documented in Ford parts
books and other cars...I have a 78 Rallye with the very same cloth.) and
gold accents on the welt cord on the seats. The fabric is perfect except for
the typical wear on the driver seat which may need to be replaced
eventually.
It has a 302 V-8 with a 4-Speed manual transmission, PS, PB, Air
Conditioning, AM/FM Cassette player, Light Courtesy Group, Map Light,
Slotted Aluminum Wheels, Rallye Package.
