Our Mustang II turned 30- this year. We purchased it in April of 1978. The owners card has our name on it
but the bright-red hatchback really belongs to our daughter, Sandy. It was Sandy who found a place in her
heart for the little Mustang and who gave it the name of "The Red Baron."
With less than 60,000 easy miles
on the odometer, the Baron has always been garaged-kept and covered. The wiper blades are still original, a
testament to never being in the snow and rarely in the rain. Only three right-hands have touched the four-
speed shifter that keeps the factory 302 reving in the fun range. The sport-suspension adds a sports car
feel as the Baron smooths out twisty roads.
The Baron is a family "keeper" and our oldest granddaughter
Emily, has already felt the excitement the Baron delivers as she wrapped her hands around the sport steering
wheel.
