| Description: | The 1978 Mustang II was fit with a Borg Warner SR4 4 speed transmission from what I have studied. I need a transmission, bell housing and everything else for a 1978 Mustang II that is sporting a high output, street only, 302 V8. If you have one for sale please email me. I am interested in 4 speed or 5 speed. I would love to go with a 5 speed if it can be bolted up without too much cosmetic trouble. |

| Description: | Original Arizona car. Car disassembled, rolling chassis. Many new and used parts. New and installed: Front springs, ball joints, outer tie rod ends, KYB shocks, and contol arm bushings, rubber brake lines, Rear springs, bushings, shackles and KYB shocks. V-6 Car set up for V-8, 4speed. I have the correct frame mounts for V-8 and correct wiring harness. Car comes with all parts I have collected for it, including NEW: 1 front sway bar, front and rear carpet, hatch struts, rear window louvers, green Cobra II stripe kit, fiberglass front valance and spoiler. I''''m sure I''''m forgetting something. The car will need a windshield, headliner, seats reupolstored, radiator, and engine. Just to give you an idea how clean this car is, I removed and replaced the suspension parts using a 3/8 drive rachet!!! Just surface rust from the Arizona sun baking the paint off! Body exterior has been taken to bare metal and primed once.I have over $4500 invested just in the car, not including the labor already put into it. The car is in my garage and full of parts, I could use the room and I don''''t have the funds to finish and need to pay some bills. So I''''m asking $3000 or best reasonable offer. Come take a look and see what you think. I will sell body,glass, original interior pieces, and one set of rims for $1850. Can send some pics upon request |
